How to measure your nail size

Measure

Wrap a measuring tape around each nail bed or place a thin strip of paper flat across your nail bed. Measure the widest point across the nail or measure the distance between marks.

Write it down

Record the measurement for each finger — thumb through pinky.

Match your size

Find the row where most of your fingers' measurements align. If fingers fall across two sizes, choose the larger size for a comfortable fit.

Short almond runs ~0.5mm narrower than standard. When in doubt, size up.

Tips for the best fit

Measure at the right time

Fingers can swell slightly throughout the day. Measure in the morning and again in the evening — use the larger reading for the most accurate result.

Between sizes? Go larger

If your measurements fall between two sizes, always choose the larger. It is easy to file down the sides of a press-on nail that is slightly too big, but a nail that is too small will reveal your natural nail underneath.

Not all fingers match

It's completely normal for each finger to fall into a different size. Our kits include a full set — mix and match for a perfectly custom fit.

Measure the nail bed width

Measure the widest part of your nail bed — not the full finger width or nail length. The press-on should sit edge to edge on the nail, not over the skin.
